Senior Operations Engineer · SRE Pathway

12+ years keeping production calm, observable, and automated.

I'm Vitalii Davydov — an operations engineer based in Saint Petersburg, moving deeper into SRE. I run L2/L3 incident response for microservices on Kubernetes/OpenShift, build observability with ELK/OpenSearch and Grafana, and automate the repetitive work away — including an AI agent that updates configs straight from Jira tickets.

Operations engineer with 12+ years of experience, currently transitioning into SRE at Sber's Financial Markets Technology Division. Strong background in L2/L3 incident management, observability (ELK/OpenSearch, Grafana), and production support of microservices on OpenShift/Kubernetes.

I developed an AI agent for automated configuration management driven by Jira tickets — it reduced manual toil by 30% and cut config errors by 50% across 50+ microservices. Recognized with a Certificate of Recognition (Sber, 2025) for consistently high performance.

Side project: SRE Alerting Platform

A small self-hosted stack — Prometheus, Alertmanager, n8n and the Claude API — that turns incoming alerts into a Telegram message with one-tap response (Take / Escalate / Decline) and posts the outcome back as an audit log. Built as a hands-on exploration of AI-assisted alert triage, not a production system.
